इस श्लोक में भगवान श्रीकृष्ण अपने भक्तों को एक बहुत गहरा और स्नेहपूर्ण वचन देते हैं।

भगवान कहते हैं कि जो लोग अनन्य भाव से उनका स्मरण करते हैं, यानी पूरे मन से और बिना किसी दूसरे सहारे के भगवान की भक्ति करते हैं, उनके जीवन की चिंता भगवान स्वयं करते हैं।

इस श्लोक में दो शब्द बहुत महत्वपूर्ण हैं — योग और क्षेम।

योग का अर्थ है जो हमारे पास नहीं है उसे प्राप्त होना।

क्षेम का अर्थ है जो हमारे पास है उसकी रक्षा होना।
